All Sliding doors are designed in accordance with ASTM F1196/F1197 as well as Solas and suitable Watertight & Watertight Fire Boundaries.

Featured in steel or aluminum fabrication with radius corners, hydraulic locking pins, a pneumatic gasket, and a choice of hinge configurations. Optional built-in or removable handrail with hydraulic controls for sensors, inflatable gasket, locking pins, and hinging. Doors can be built to custom sizes and shapes with versatile installation methods, and class approval upon request.

Doors are available in Weathertight or Watertight configurations. Watertight doors can be installed in watertight bulkheads below freeboard deck and are designed to withstand static head pressure from both sides of the panel. Doors pass most regulatory bodies requirements including ABS, BV, DNV & LR. Weathertight doors are designed to withstand driving rain or wash down and both Watertight & Weathertight are built in accordance with IMO 2010 FTP Code Part 3, MED Certificate by DNV offering the same resistance as the bulkhead they are integrated into.
Founded by John Peter Manly in 1946, has a storied history in the Canadian maritime industry. John Manly, born on the west coast of Canada, began his career building boats at a local shipyard. Seizing an opportunity, he started his own shipyard, initially focusing on small commercial vessels.
