Watertight doors can be installed in watertight bulkheads below freeboard deck and are designed to withstand static head pressure from both sides of the panel. Doors pass requirements for LR, DNV, BV & ABS.
Weathertight doors are designed to withstand driving rain or wash-down. Both Watertight & Weathertight are built in accordance with IMO 2010 FTP Code Part 3, MED Certificate by DNV offering the same resistance as the bulkhead they are integrated into.
