Rotterdam – AdvanTec Marine proudly marks the 50th anniversary of its Freeman Marine brand with a special video interview at Europort, featuring Matt Kirby, Vice President of AdvanTec Marine, and Nurettin Caliskan, owner of Neva Marine. Neva Marine has been a trusted distributor of Freeman Marine products in Turkey for nearly 30 years, supporting the region’s superyacht and commercial vessel industries since 1996.
During the interview, Matt Kirby reflected on Freeman Marine’s journey: “No company makes it alone. It’s with the support and help of partners and great global partners. I’m privileged to sit with Nurettin, who has been with Freeman for 30 years.”
Nurettin shared memories of meeting Freeman’s founders and building a partnership that helped shape Turkey’s emerging superyacht industry. “Our first customer was Turquoise Yachts, and for 30 years we’ve supplied them with Freeman’s high-quality products. It’s been an honor to work with legends like Tom McNamara and Dougie Freeman,” said Nurettin. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and the enduring relationship with Freeman Marine, noting, “We’ve built a strong business in Turkey, supplying not only superyachts but Coast Guard and commercial vessels. We’re proud to be part of the AdvanTec family.”
